Free Money by Kevin Trudeau: My Review
It’s no secret that the economy is in terrible shape right now, and I think it’s pretty safe to say that we’re all feeling the pinch – even those of us who have jobs that used to seem fairly secure. Everyone I know is struggling with debt or simply trying to make ends meet every month, and several friends and former coworkers have been laid off and find themselves in danger of losing their homes to foreclosure. The concept of finding “free money” sounds more appealing than ever before, so when I saw Kevin Trudeau’s infomercial for his book Free Money “They” Don’t Want You to Know About, I was immediately intrigued. The book claims to have information for finding and claiming free money (i.e., money that doesn’t need to be repaid like loans do) quickly and easily. Apparently the government and other private funding institutions have billions of dollars that they’re just waiting to hand out to people, and you can use it for anything from paying down your mortgage to paying off credit cards. Sounds too good to be true, right?
I was a little wary that the Free Money book might turn out to be a scam, but I went ahead and grabbed a copy for myself anyway. In my opinion, this book actually has many useful tips. It’s true that none of this information is exactly exclusive, but if you’re a financial novice you might be able to benefit from Trudeau’s uncomplicated writing style, which puts everything in extremely accessible terms. If you’ve ever considered applying for a government grant but you have no idea where to begin, Free Money can definitely help you out there. There is also a lot of good information about scholarships, which is great for college students who don’t have the cash to pay their tuition and school expenses in full but are hesitant to take out hefty student loans.
All in all, this book may not change your life or anything, but it could be an excellent starting point if you’re looking to rehab your finances. The services of a professional financial advisor would probably be preferable to buying a copy of Free Money by Kevin Trudeau, but the book does offer an easy and relatively affordable way to take some initiative towards regaining control of your economic future.
